PS4 Update 4.50 Officially Released

Following the announcement of the upcoming PS4 software update earlier last month, Sony is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has revealed that the PS4 System Software Update 4.50 is now launching to the public.

The PS4 System Software Update 4.50, codenamed Sasuke, includes:
  • External HDD support and custom wallpapers
  • Improved 2D Images on PS VR
  • Voice Chat has been added to Remote Play
  • Off Console Availability indicates a player is logged into PSN but away from their system
  • Boost Mode (PS4 Pro only)
  • Updates to PS Messages and Communities app

The PS4 System Software Update 4.50 is now rolling out as a free update to all current-gen PlayStation consoles.
