Nvidia SHIELD Pro Officially Launched

Following the rollout out of the Nvidia SHIELD base model couple weeks ago, Nvidia has officially announced that the pro version of its Android TV based set-top box aimed at both home entertainment and gaming is now available to purchase.

As a reminder, the Nvidia SHIELD Pro features:
  • 4K HDR video support
  • The next generation of GeForce Now
  • NVIDIA GameStream
  • The Steam app with direct access to Steam Big Picture
  • Google Assistant (coming soon)
  • Chromecast 4K ultra built-in
  • 500GB HDD
The Nvidia SHIELD Pro, which includes a remote and a redesigned controller, is now available to purchase for $299.99 through the company's online store
