LG G6 Officially Announced


LG has officially announced its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the G family, the LG G6, delivering a successor to last year's modular LG G5 that offers a "5.7" display in an attractive sleek phone that comfortably fits in one hand".

The LG G6 features 5.7-inch Quad-HD+ FullVision display, Snapdragon 821 Quad-core processor clocked at 2.35Ghz, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of memory, 32/64GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 2TB), Dual 13MP rear-shooters and 5MP front-facing camera, 3300mAh non-removable battery, and LG UX on top of Android Nougat.

The phablet comes in 7.9mm thin and weighs 163g, with all metal uni-body design, 18:9 aspect ratio, Water and Dust Resistant, Fingerprint Sensor on the back, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), Google Assistant built-in, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, as well as Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Mystic White color options.

According to LG "The LG G6 offers users new visual and manual experiences, as it marries an expanded screen with the convenience of one-handed use," The company continued "LG will continue to lead smartphone innovation with a focus on convenience and reliability in order to exceed consumer expectations".

The LG G6 will be available early March in Korea for around $800, while the rest of the world will get it later on.
