Amazon Chime Officially Announced
Amazon has officially unveiled its latest and greatest service, as well as the latest member joining the video conferencing party, Amazon Chime, delivering a brand new unified communications service that promises to deliver "frustration-free meetings with exceptional video and audio quality".
Amazon Chime offers:
- Noise-cancelling wideband audio to deliver high-quality audio and crisp, clear HD video
- Calls participants when it is time for the meeting to start and lets them join with a single-click
- Provides a visual roster that allows users to see exactly who has joined, who is running late, and who can’t make it
- built for mobile use from day one with easy-to-use apps across multiple platforms and devices
- When in a meeting, anyone can share their screen, instantly, without asking a host to “pass the ball,” or jump to a different application
Amazon Chime is now available to try out for free. Once the 30 days has ended, you can continue to use the service for free with a Basic Plan, or opt-in for the paid one through either the Plus or the Pro subscriptions.
