OnePlus Brings Android Nougat To OnePlus 3
Following the launch of OxygenOS Open Beta 7 couple weeks ago, OnePlus has officially announced the latest software update coming to its 2016 flagship smartphone, OxygenOS Open Beta 8, offering users an early taste of Google's latest and greatest mobile operating system.
OxygenOS Open Beta 8, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat, for the OnePlus 3 includes:
- Android Nougat Upgrades like New Notifications Design, New Settings Menu Design, Multi-Window View, Notification Direct Reply and Custom DPI Support
- Added Status Bar Icon Options
- Added Quick Launch For 3rd Party Applications
- Improved Shelf Customization
Unfortunately, the company has since puled the download link for OxygenOS Open Beta 8 and has stated that OTA will not be released to current open beta users as the team has "gathered enough feedback".
