Sony Begins Rolling Out Android Nougat Beta To Select Xperia Devices

Following the announcement of the First Xperia Devices To Get Android Nougat over two months ago, Sony Mobile is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has announced that Android Nougat Beta has now began rolling out to select Xperia X Performance devices.

Android Nougat Beta (firmware build number 39.2.A.0.248) for the Xperia X Performance includes:
  • Android 7.0 features like Split-screen multitasking and the new notification panel
  • New options for the camera app has been added like manual shutter speed control and manual ISO control at 23MP
  • The latest iteration of Stamina Mode
  • Touch sensitivity has been improved
  • The auto-rotation bug has been fixed
  • October 1 security patches
The Android Nougat Beta is now available across select regions for owners of the single SIM variant (F8131) of the Xperia X Performance.
