Google Releases Final Android 7.1 Developer Preview

Following the release of Android 7.1 Developer Preview 1 just one month ago, Google has officially launched the latest software update coming to its mobile operating system, Android 7.1 Developer Preview 2, to developers for download and update.

Android 7.1 Developer Preview 2, also known as the final preview build of Android 7.1 Nougat, includes:
  • Near-final system behaviors and UI
  • The latest bug fixes and optimizations across the system and Google apps
  • The developer features and APIs (API level 25) 
  • App shortcuts (Similat Apple 3D Touch) 
  • Round icon resources and image keyboard support

Android 7.1 Developer Preview 2 is now rolling out on the Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X, Google Pixel C and the HTC Nexus 9.
