General Mobile Announces GM 5 (Android One)


General Mobile in collaboration with Google has officially revealed its latest affordable product, as well as the latest member joining the Android One family, the GM 5, delivering the world's first Android One handset that runs Android Nougat out of the box.

The GM 5 features 5.0-inch 720p diplay, Qualcomm Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (most likely Snapdragon 410), 2GB of memory, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD card, 13MP shooter with autofocus and 5MP front-facing camera, 2500mAh Battery, and runs Stock Android 7.0 Nougat.

The phablet comes in 9.3mm thin and weighs 160g, with Metal frame and texture back, Gorilla Glass 4, USB Type-C, 4G connectivity with Dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, as well as Space Gray, Black, and Gold color options.

The General Mobile GM 5 will be available this month for ₺699 (about $220) in Azerbaijan, Albania, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Iraq, Kenya, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
