Cyanogen Begins Rolling Out CM14.1 (Android 7.1)


Cyanogen has officially announced the latest update coming to its very popular open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers that is based on the Android mobile platform, CM14.1, delivering the first nightly builds of Android 7.1 Nougat.

The first devices to get CM14.1 include:

  • Nexus 6P (angler)
  • Nexus 5X (bullhead)
  • Xiaomi Mi3w (cancro)
  • Xiaomi Mi4 (cancro)
  • LG G3 (d855)
  • LG G4 (h811/h815)
  • Moto G variants (falcon/peregrine/thea/titan)
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 (klte/kltedv/kltespr/klteusc/kltevzw)
  • OnePlus 3 (oneplus3)
  • Zenphone 2 (Z00L/Z00T)
Reminder: CM14.1 is still in early stages of developments, so a number of features such as Themes will not be available just yet, but the team behind CyanogenMod has stated that the "development is progressing".
