Skyrim Special Edition System Requirements Announced


With The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition release date only eight days away, Bethesda Softworks has officially announced the latest update coming to its open world action role-playing video game, including the system requirements of Skyrim Special Edition.

Skyrim Special Edition Minimum System Requirements include:

  • OS - Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version)
  • CPU - Intel i5-750 or AMD Phenom II X4-945
  • GPU - NVIDIA GTX 470 (1GB) or AMD HD 7870 (2GB)
  • RAM - 8GB of memory
  • HDD - 12 GB of free space
Skyrim Special Edition Recommended System Requirements include:
  • OS - Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit Version)
  • CPU - Intel i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320
  • GPU - NVIDIA GTX 780 (3GB) or AMD R9 290 (4GB)
  • RAM - 8GB of memory
  • HDD - 12 GB of free space
Reminder: Mods for For Skyrim Special Edition will reserve 5 GB and 1 GB of space on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, respectively.

Last but not least, the game will take up 20 GB (North America) and 33 GB (Europe) on PS4, while Xbox One will need 17 GB (North America) and 25 GB (Europe).
