Remix IO (4K Android PC) Officially Announced

Jide Technology has officially announced its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Remix family, the Remix IO, delivering an all-new compact all-in-one that has been "engineered to be a 4K set-top box, gaming console, and PC in a single device".

The Remix IO features
  • Powered by the latest Remix OS (based on Android Nougat)
  • Octa-core processor
  • 2GB of memory
  • 16GB of built-in storage with microSD card support
  • HDMI, VGA, four USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and ethernet ports
  • Connectivity support including Wi-Fi, bluetooth, and Miracast
  • 4K@60fps and HDR graphics capabilities
  • PC Mode and TV Mode
  • IR receiver and physical on/off button
  • Remote control support
The Remix IO is now available to pre-order through Kickstarter starting at $99, while the set-top box is expected to begin shipping January 2017 for developers and  March 2017 for all backers.
