LG U Officially Announced


LG has officially announced its latest and greatest mid-range product, as well as the latest member joining its own LG U+ cellular carrier, the LG U, offering a brand new sub $400 smartphone with decent specs that will be released exclusively through the company's own carrier in Korea.

The LG U features 5.2-inch 180p display, Octa-core processor clocked at 1.14GHz, 2GB of memory, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 2TB), 13MP shooter and 8MP front-facing camera, 3000mAh non-removable battery, and runs LG UX on top of Android Marshmallow.

The phones comes in 7.7mm thin and weighs 135g, with a combination of "modern retro" design, 4G connectivity, WiFi 802. 11 b, g, n, as well as White, Black, or Pink color options.

The LG U will be available this week in Korea exclusively through LG U+ for ₩396,000 (about $345).
