Honor Pad2 Officially Announced


Honor has officially revealed its latest and greatest tablet, as well as the latest member joining the Honor family, the Honor Pad2, delivering an affordable tablet that offers flagship-like specs and plastic design.

The Honor Pad2 features 8.0-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200) IPS display, Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of memory, 16/32GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 8MP main shooter and 2MP front-facing camera, 4800mAh battery, and runs EMUI 4.0 on top of Android Marshmallow.

The tablet comes in 8.1mm thin and weighs 340g, with polycarbonate design, SIM-enabled with 4G connectivity support, split-screen functionality, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1, as well as White and Gold color options.

The Honor Pad2 is now available to pre-order in China starting at CNY 999 (about $149) for the Wi-Fi only base model, while the higher-end LTE model will go for CNY 1,499 (about $222). Last but not least, the tablet is expected to begin shipping October 25.
