The Honor Pad2 features 8.0-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200) IPS display, Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of memory, 16/32GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 8MP main shooter and 2MP front-facing camera, 4800mAh battery, and runs EMUI 4.0 on top of Android Marshmallow.
The tablet comes in 8.1mm thin and weighs 340g, with polycarbonate design, SIM-enabled with 4G connectivity support, split-screen functionality, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1, as well as White and Gold color options.
The Honor Pad2 is now available to pre-order in China starting at CNY 999 (about $149) for the Wi-Fi only base model, while the higher-end LTE model will go for CNY 1,499 (about $222). Last but not least, the tablet is expected to begin shipping October 25.
