Although Gravity Rush 2 was first scheduled to be released in time for the Holyday season, Game Director Keiichiro Toyama has officially announced that the sequel to the 2012's Gravity Rush will unfortunately be delayed until next year in order to enable "players to have enough time to dive deep" into Kat’s story as well as offer access to online features to "as many people as possible playing the title at the same time".
Gravity Rush 2 will be available January 18 in Europe and January 19 in Japan, while North America will get it January 20. Last but not least, the studio will be offering players a free Premium DLC "in exchange for the longer wait".
