In Super Mario Run, players will get the chance to play as "the leading man of video games", also known as Super Mario, and guide him with a touch of a single finger as he jumpx over obstacles, avoidx pesky enemies and captures the flag pole to complete levels. The game will also be featuring three different game modes including:
- A mode in which the player collects coins and heads for the goal
- A mode in which the player competes against the acrobatic moves of other people who have completed the same course
- A mode in which you create your own Mushroom Kingdom based upon these play results
