The Xperia XZ features 5.2-inch 1080p Triluminos display, Snapdragon 820 Quad-core processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 3GB of memory, 32/64GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 256GB), 23MP shooter with Triple image sensing technology and 13MP front-facing camera, 2900mAh battery, and runs Android Marshmallow.
The Xperia X Compact features 4.6-inch 720p Triluminos display, Snapdragon 650 Hexa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of memory, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 256GB), 23MP shooter with Triple image sensing technology and 5MP front-facing camera, 2700mAh battery, and runs Android Marshmallow.
Both devices come with Quick Charge 3.0 support, Home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, dual front-facing speaker, USB Type-C, 4G connectivity, and High-Res Audio. However, the XZ support IP65/IP68, (water and dust resistance), Dual-SIM option, as well as Forest Blue, Mineral Black, and Platinum color options, while the Compact edition support Mist Blue, Universe Black, and White color options.
The Sony Xperia X Compact will be available this month around the world, while the Xperia XZ will be launching in October. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing.
