Following thelaunch of Pokémon GO on mobile devices couple months ago, Nianticlabs has officially announced that its hugely popular location-based augmented reality game will soon be coming Apple's wearable smarwatch.

Encourages workouts with summaries of your activity
Pokémon GO will be available to download as a free-to-play game later this year on the Apple Watch.
