New Minecraft DLC Revealed

Following the release of Minecraft Battle: Map Pack 3 couple weeks ago, Mojang is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has announced the latest downloadable content coming to its sandbox video game, the Minecraft Chinese Mythology Mash-Up Pack.

The Minecraft Chinese Mythology Mash-Up Pack will include:

• Pre-made world featuring mountain ranges occupied by dragons and a monastery

• New map specially made for the Battle mini game

• Adds 41 new skins 

• Adds 13 new music tracks

Alongside the paid DLC, the studio has also announced a free update featuring:

• Polar bears and their adorable offspring are to be found wandering frozen biomes

• Banners! Spruce the place up with your personalised drapery

• New terrain generation including Igloos now appear in Arctic biomes, and gargantuan fossils lie beneath the earth awaiting your discovery

• Beetroots! You can farm them and turn them into a restorative soup. Delish!

• Other new blocks including End Bricks, Grass Path, Frosted Ice, Magma, Nether Wart Block, Red Nether Brick and Bone Block

The Minecraft Chinese Mythology Mash-Up Pack will be available October 4th first on Xbox One and Wii U for $4.99, while the other Minecraft Console Edition platforms will get it October 5th.
