BioShock: The Collection Launches On Computers


Following the release of BioShock: The Collection on current-gen consoles couple days ago, 2K Games is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has announced that its remastered collection of the BioShock video game series is now expanding to computers.

Alongside the announcement of BioShock: The Collection launching on PC, the studio has also revealed the game's system requirements which include:
BioShock: The Collection Minimum System Requirements features:

  • OS - Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit. Platform Update for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 
  • CPU - Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GHZ 
  • GPU - DirectX 11 Compatible, AMD Radeon HD 7770 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 
  • RAM - 4GB 
  • Hard Drive - 70GB for all three games 
  • Sound Card - DirectX Compatible Sound Device 
  • Other Requirements - Software installations required including DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 & 2012 Redistributable Package
While BioShock: The Collection Recommended System Requirements features:
  • OS - Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit. Platform Update for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 
  • CPU - 3GHz Quad-Core 
  • GPU - 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 or better 
  • RAM - 8GB 
  • Hard Drive - 80GB for all three games 
  • Sound Card - DirectX Compatible Sound Device 
  • Other Requirements - Software installations required including DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 & 2012 Redistributable Package
BioShock: The Collection will be available today on PC through Steam. Last but not least, those who already own BioShock, BioShock 2, or Minerva’s Den on Steam will get 
the remastered version for the corresponding title for free.
