Android Nougat Begins Rolling Out To Android One Devices

Following the release of Android 7.0 Nougat on Nexus and Pixel devices late last month, Google has began rolling out its latest and sweetest mobile operating system to Android One devices, the company's standard in the developing world.

As a reminder, Android Nougat brings some new features as well as other improvements such as:
  • Multi-window support with the ability to run two apps side-by-side
  • 72 new emojis
  • Improved battery saving feature with Doze on the Go
  • August security patch 
  • Vulkan API and Daydream VR support
Android 7.0 Nougat is now rolling out to Android One devices including the Cherry Mobile G1.
