Amazon Introducing New Fire HD 8


Amazon has officially revealed its latest and greatest affordable tablets, as well as the latest member joining the Fire HD family, the New Fire HD 8, delivering a new tablet that offers longer battery life, more storage, faster performance, and Alexa integration.

The New Fire HD 8 features 8-inch (1280x800) IPS display, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1.5GB of memory, 16/32GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 200GB), 2MP shooter and VGA front-facing camera, up to 12 hours of battery life, and runs Fire OS 5 (upgradable soon to
Fire OS 5.4).

The tablet comes in 9.2mm thin and weighs 341g, with Dual stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and built-in Bluetooth, 3.5 mm stereo jack, Alexa integration (coming later on though software update), as well as Black, Magenta, Blue, and Tangerine color options

According to Amazon "We believe in a different approach to tablets—providing premium products at non-premium prices—and customers love it. In fact, we’ve seen Fire tablet sales more than double year-over-year as a result," The company continued "The all-new Fire HD 8 packs more battery life, more storage, faster performance, plus Alexa—all for less than $90".

The New Amazon Fire HD 8 is now available to pre-order starting at $89.99, while the higher-end model will go for $119.99. Last but not least, the tablet will begin shipping starting September 21.
