PlayStation Now Coming To Computers


Following the launch of PlayStation Now on last-gen and current-gen PlayStation consoles couple years ago, Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that its subscription-based cloud gaming service will be expanding to Windows-based computers.

With PlayStation Now on Windows, PC gamers will finally be able to play a wide selection of PlayStation exclusive titles for the very first time including games like Uncharted, God of War, and Ratchet & Clank franchises, as well as beloved PS3 games like The Last of Us and Journey. The studio has also announced the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC, which includes:

  • OS - Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • CPU - Intel Core i3 @ 3.5 GHz / AMD A10 @ 3.8 GHz or faster
  • Storage - 300 MB of space or more
  • RAM - 2 GB of memory or more 
  • I/O - Sound card, USB port
  • A minimum 5Mbps connection is required 
  • Wired Internet connection for the optimal experience
The PlayStation Now app will be launching in the UK, Belgium and Netherlands starting today, while North America is expected to get it shortly thereafter.
