Kyocera Introducing DuraForce PRO With Action Camera

Kyocera has officially announced its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the company's Rugged Smartphone family, the DuraForce PRO, delivering a brand new smartphone that "combines unmatched durability with a Super Wide View HD Action Camera".

The DuraForce PRO features 5.0-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Octa-core processor (most likely Snapdragon 617), 2GB of memory, 32GB of built-in storage, microSD card, 13MP shooter and 5MP front-facing camera, 3,240mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support, dual front-facing speakers, Power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, Android for Work support, 4G connectivity and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi, and runs Android Marshmallow.

The phone comes with IP68 (dustproofing and waterproofing) and Military Standard 810G for ruggedization, super wide view 1080p action camera with underwater Mode and other enhanced camera features, the ability to integrate the phone with popular action-camera mounts, dedicated side button for Push-To-Talk and can also be programmed to access your favorite feature or application, as well as Glove and Wet Touchscreen Operation support.

According to Kyocera "Kyocera's new DuraForce PRO provides consumers and businesses with industry-leading rugged technology and is the only rugged smartphone with a built-in high-definition action camera, enabling users to stay connected and capture the content they love no matter the circumstance or environment," The company continued "With the breadth of durable features our customers have come to expect from Kyocera, DuraForce PRO delivers peace of mind, unmatched durability and rugged design, all at a price point consumers will love."

The Kyocera DuraForce PRO will be available this Fall across North America. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing.
