Fortunately, there is a way to force the Windows 10 Anniversary Update to be installed on your Windows 10-based computer, and all you have to do is:
- Go to Settings > Updates & Security > Windows Update
- In Windows Update simply click Check for Updates
- The Anniversary Update will appear as, Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607. Click update and the update will begin downloading and installing
- Go to Settings > Updates & Security > Windows Update
- Click the "Learn more" just below the "Looking for info on the latest updates?" In Windows Update
- From there you’ll be taken to a support page on Microsoft.com that will allow you to download the ISO file to your PC
- Just follow the instruction given by Windows 10 Update Assistant
- Once Windows 10 Anniversary Update installed, you should be running Windows 10 Version 1607
