How To Force Android 7.0 Nougat Update


With the Android 7.0 Nougat, which is Google's latest and sweetest release of its mobile operating system, now rolling out around the world in phases for supported Nexus and Pixel devices, some users may not get it immediately and have to wait a few days or even weeks before the update reaches their mobile devices.

Fortunately, there is a way to force the Android 7.0 Nougat Update to be installed on your compatible device, and all you have to do is:

  • Click Enroll device 
  • Accept the terms and then click Join Beta
  • Head to Settings
  • Scroll down and select About Phone
  • Click on System Updates
  • Tap the "Check for update" button
  • You should see the update available for download within a few minutes
Reminder: Once Android 7.0 Nougat gets installed on your device, you can then unenroll from the program. This method doesn't erase any personal information or apps, but it its recommended to Backup your data in case something goes wrong during the installation process.
