Square Enix Announces RPG For Apple Watch

Square Enix has officially announced its latest and greatest project, as well as the latest member joining the role-playing game genre, Cosmos Rings, delivering a spinoff from the company’s Chaos Rings franchise for the Apple-based smartwatch.

Although not much information has been released, it has been confirmed that Cosmos Rings will be using the watch's pedometer functionality for gameplay, while creator of the mobile game series Chaos Rings, Takehiro Ando, will act as producer, and Final Fantasy artist Yusuke Naora will be overseeing art direction.

Cosmos Rings will be available this Summer around the world exclusively for the Apple Watch.
