Microsoft Releases New Windows 10/Mobile Insider Preview Build


Following the launch of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14385 for PC and Mobile late last week, Microsoft has officially released a brand new build of Windows 10, Windows 10/Mobile Insider Preview Build 14388, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14388 for PC includes improvements and bug fixes like:

  • The Store has been updated to version 11606.1001.39 with bug fixes
  • An issue where Narrator keyboard shortcuts would not work after locking your PC and then logging back in and going to your desktop has been fixed
  • An issue where Narrator would not read the date and time under Settings > Time & language > Date & time has been fixed
  • A TPM driver crash that could result in the device bug-checking (bluescreen) and rebooting has been fixed
While Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14388 for Mobile features enhancements and bug fixes such as:
  • The Store has been updated to version 11606.1001.39 with bug fixes
  • The issue causing the keyboard to not show up consistently for InPrivate mode on Microsoft Edge has been fixed
  • An issue that could result in an app getting into a state after being suspended where it would be unable to launch until rebooting the device has been fixed
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14388 and Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 14388 are now rolling out through Windows Update as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program for registered Windows Insiders.
