The Maimang 5 features 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, Adreno 506 GPU, 3/4GB of memory, 32/64GB of built-in storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 16MP shooter with OIS + PDAF and 8MP front-facing camera, 3340mAh battery, and runs EMUI4.1 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The phablet comes in 7.3mm thin and weighs 160g, with all-Metal unibody, 2.5D glass, fingerprint sensor on the back, 4G connectivity with Cat. 6 and VoLTE support, USB Type-C with Quick Charge 3.0 support, as well as Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
The high-end Huawei Maimang 5 Gold edition is now available to pre-order in China for CNY 2599 (about $388), while the phablet will go on sale starting July 21.
