Following the announcement of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update three months ago, Microsoft has officially revealed the latest detail about its upcoming one year anniversary update of Windows 10, including the release date of Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update includes:
  • Brings Windows Ink and Cortana to the mainstream
  • A faster, more accessible and more power-efficient Microsoft Edge browser
  • Advanced security features for consumers and enterprises
  • New gaming experiences 
  • New tools for the modern classroom
Windows 10 Anniversary Update will be available August 2nd as a free update to all Windows 10 machines that have upgraded during the free Windows 10 upgrade period.
