Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Insider Preview Build


Following the launch of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14352 late last month, Microsoft has officially released a brand new build of Windows 10, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14361, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14361 brings some new features as well as other enhancements like:

  • LastPass extension has been added to Microsoft Edge
  • The ability to use Docker natively on Windows 10 with Hyper-V Containers
  • The Windows Ink ruler is now long enough to span diagonally across the entire Surface Book display
  • An issue with the Windows Ink pencil tool, where the line when drawing along the ruler wouldn’t be flush with the ruler as well as an issue resulting in a slight flicker visible in the colored section when opening the Pen, Pencil or Highlighter flyout has been fixed
  • The Touch Inking icon in Windows Ink Workspace has been updated to be more reminiscent of the Windows Ink Workspace icon
  • The performance of loading the Sketchpad thumbnail in the Windows Ink Workspace flyout from the taskbar has been improved
  • The "clear all" option is now more discoverable in Sketch Pad as the trash can icon in the menu bar. 
  • The navigation pane in the Settings app is now white in light mode or black in dark mode, and a small block of color has been added to highlight what Settings page you are on
  • The Blu-ray icon has been updated so that it is more consistent with the other drive icons in Windows 10
  • The icon for the network Quick Action has changed to better represent it as an entry point to the network flyout 
  • Other improvements and bug fixes
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14361 is now rolling out through Windows Update as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program for registered Windows Insiders.
