Microsoft Introducing Xbox One S


Microsoft has officially revealed its latest and greatest console, as well as the latest member joining the Xbox family, the Xbox One S, delivering a slimmer and more powerful console that offers "exceptional games and entertainment".

The Xbox One S features:

  • Fresh new design and “robot white” color
  • 40% smaller compared to the original Xbox One
  • 4K Ultra HD and High Dynamic Range support
  • Up to 2TB of built-in storage
  • Built-in power supply
  • IR blaster has been added
  • One of the three USB ports and the pairing button have been shifted to the front
  • The dedicated Kinect port from the back and now works via the Xbox Kinect Adapter for USB connection
  • Optional stand
Alongside the Xbox One S, the company has also revealed a newly designed Xbox Wireless Controller featuring a textured grip for enhanced comfort, improved Xbox Wireless signal performance for a more reliable wireless connection to the console and up to twice the wireless range when used with Xbox One S, as well as Bluetooth support in order to make it easier to connect wirelessly with your Windows 10 devices
