Google Launches Android Pay In Singapore

Following the launch of Android Pay in North America and then in UK, Google has officially announced that its contactless mobile payment system has now began rolling out in Asia starting with Singapore.

Initially, Android Pay in Singapore will be supporting four major banks, in addition to supporting major credit and debit cards from top Singapore networks, including:
  • DBS
  • OCBC Bank
  • Standard Chartered
  • UOB Bank
Android Pay is now rolling out in Singapore, enabling customers to pay for their goods and services wright from their compatible Android devices (NFC-enabled and running on KitKat 4.4 or higher) by downloading the Android Pay app.
