Following the launch of Fruit Ninja on mobile devices about six years ago, Halfbrick Studios has officially announced that its very popular juggernaut Fruit Ninja series will soon be expanding to virtual reality headsets.
Although not much information has been released about the Fruit Ninja VR Edition, the virtual reality version of Fruit Ninja said to be featuring:
Three familiar modes including Classic, Arcade and Zen
New PvP mode
According to Halfbrick "After the latest VR technology was released, we felt that there was no better game suited to VR than Fruit Ninja," The company continued "The simplicity of Fruit Ninja with the total immersion of VR creates an experience like no other".
Fruit Ninja VR Edition will be available this month first on the HTC Vive through Steam, while other VR platforms are expected to get by the end of this year. Check out Fruit Ninja VR Gameplay Trailer.
