Apple Seeds Safari 10 Beta


Following the release of Safari Technology Preview 7 just one day ago, the company has officially launched a brand new build of Safari Developer Beta, Safari 10 Beta, to both OS X El Capitan and OS X Yosemite for download and testing.

Safari 10 Beta for OS X El Capitan includes some new features as wellas other enhancements such as:

  • Safari Extensions
  • Development of Safari App Extensions
  • New Bookmarks sidebar, including double-click to focus in on a folder
  • Redesigned Bookmarks and History views
  • Site-specific zoom
  • Improved AutoFill from your Contacts card
  • Reader improvements
  • HTML5 and legacy Plug-ins
  • Allow reopening of recently closed tabs
  • Spotlight suggestions for Top Hits
  • Back closing spawned tabs
  • Improved ranking of Frequently Visited Sites
  • Web Inspector Timelines Tab
  • Debugging using Web Inspector
While Safari 10 Beta for OS X Yosemite features some new features as well as other improvements like:

Safari 10 Beta is now available to download through the Safari Dev Center to registered develoeprs on both OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 beta as well as OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
