With the one year anniversary of the availability of Windows 10 only couple months away, Microsoft has officially announced the latest details about its latest and greatest Windows OS, including the pricing of Windows 10 once the free upgrade offer ends.

According to Bryan Roper from the Windows team, here is the top reasons why you should upgrade to Windows 10:

  • The ability to download your favorite Games and Apps from the Windows Store
  • Windows 10 is the most secure Windows ever
  • Windows 10 is more personal and productive
  • Windows 10 is design to be compatible with your existing programs, files, and devices
  • Windows 10 is full of innovative experiences
  • If you upgrade now, all future updates will be released for free
  • Cortana gets even better with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update
  • Windows Ink
The full version of Windows 10 Home will be available to purchase for $119 after July 29. However, users who haven't already upgraded to Windows 10 from their existing Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 can now upgrade for free.
