Uber Updated With Trip Tracker For Family Members

Following the announcement of Family Profiles couple months ago, the multinational online transportation network company has officially revealed the latest update coming to its Uber application for mobile devices, Trip Tracker.

With Trip Tracker, Uber users under the Family Profiles will be able to receive automatic notifications as well as follow along on the map whenever someone is riding. To activate Trip Tracker, all you have to do is:
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Uber app
  • Set up your Family Profile
  • When one of your members takes a ride with Uber under the Family Profile, you’ll be automatically notified with their trip details
Reminder: You can follow the trip’s progress live on the map within your own Uber app. The cost of the ride is automatically billed to you and you will both receive a copy of the receipt

Trip Tracker is now rolling out as a free update to all riders around the world on Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
