New XCOM 2 DLC Revealed

Following the launch of Anarchy’s Children DLC couple months ago, Firaxis Games has officially announced the second downloadable content coming to XCOM 2, the
Alien Hunters DLC Pack, offering players a chance to transform XCOM soldiers into an elite alien hunting squad.

Alien Hunters DLC Pack features:
  • A narrative-driven mission
  • New weapons and armor
  • New “Hunter’s Lodge” update to the Avenger’s Armory
  • Three new “Ruler” alien units to combat
Alongside the new add-on, the studio has also announced a new patch that includes:
  • Authentication for Alien Hunters
  • General bug fixes
  • Balancing in the single player
  • Performance optimizations 
  • Rebalanced multiplayer experience for the base game
XCOM 2: Alien Hunters DLC Pack is now available to purchase for $9.99 on PC and Mac, while the Patch is now rolling out as a free update to all XCOM 2 players. Although, owners of the Reinforcement Pack will get the new DLC for free.
