Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Insider Preview Build

Following the launch of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14332 late last month, Microsoft has officially released a brand new build of Windows 10, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14342, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14342 features:
  • Updates for Extensions in Microsoft Edge - all available extensions can now be downloaded directly from the Windows Store
  • New extensions including AdBlock and Adblock Plus, Pin It Button, and OneNote Web Clipper
  • Real-time web notifications in Microsoft Edge - Enables participating websites to send notifications to you via Action Center
  • Swipe navigation in Microsoft Edge - Swipe from anywhere on the page to get back to your previous page
  • Bash on Ubuntu on Windows Improvements
  • The Skype UWP Preview app has been updated with the ability to set dark theme and switch between different Skype accounts
  • Updated Windows Ink Workspace icon with more expressive ink stroke to be more consistent with other icons in the notification area
  • Updated visuals for User Account Control dialog with dark mode, while the header color has been changed from yellow to blue
  • Middle-click for dismiss in Action Center
  • New page has been added to Settings for websites where you will be able to manage which ones open with an app
  • Feedback Hub improvements - Suggest categories and subcategories based on the title and description you entered
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14342 is now rolling out through Windows Update as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program for registered Windows Insiders.
