Google Launches Android Pay In UK

Following the launch of Android Pay in North America late last year, Google has officially announced that its contactless mobile payment system has now began rolling out in Europe starting with the United Kingdom.

Initially, Android Pay in UK will be supporting eight major banks including:
  • Bank Of Scotland
  • First Direct
  • Halifax
  • HSBC 
  • Lloyds Bank
  • M&S Bank 
  • MBNA 
  • Nationwide Building Society
Android Pay is now rolling out in UK, enabling customers to pay for their goods and services wright from their compatible Android devices by downloading the Android Pay app and and using an eligible MasterCard, Visa credit or debit card.
