Apple Launches Safari Technology Preview 4

Following the release of Safari Technology Preview 3 alongside OS X 10.11.5 Beta 3 late last month, the company has officially launched a brand new build of Safari Preview, Safari Technology Preview 4, to developers for download and testing.

Safari Technology Preview 4 brings several new features as well as other enhancements such as:

• Allow non-standard HTTP headers in WebSocket handshakes, which makes the 1Password extension work again

• Fixed Netflix video playback

• Updated JavaScript

• Updated CSS

• Updated Web APIs

• Updated Web Inspector

• Updated Accessibility

• Updated Rendering

• Improved stability

• Other bug fixes

Safari Technology Preview 4, which is compatible with OS X 10.11.4 or later, is now available to download through the Safari Dev Center for registered developers.
