With the Google Play Store soon launching on Chrome OS, Chromebook owners will finally be able to run more apps, use Office files more easily, connect with a variety of apps, and do more when they’re offline all without compromising the Chromebook's speed, simplicity or security. Last but least, Google has also announced that the company is working with partners to deliver some "great new devices specially designed for Play".
The first Chromebooks to support Android apps will include:
- Google Chromebook Pixel (2015)
- Acer Chromebook R11
- Asus Chromebook Flip
