OnePlus Releases New OxygenOS Update

Following the announcement of the OnePlus X Price Cut earlier this week, OnePlus is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has revealed the latest software update coming to its mid-range smartphone, OxygenOS 2.2.1.

OxygenOS 2.2.1 brings some bug fixes as well as other improvements such as:
  • Data leak while roaming experienced in some regions has been fixed
  • Microphone being muted when using Google Hangouts has been fixed
  • App drawer not launching when google search bar is hidden has been fixed
  • GMS 3.0 upgrade
  • APN update to support Tigo carrier
  • Security patch update
  • General bug fixes and optimizations
OxygenOS 2.2.1 is now rolling out as a free update to all OnePlus X owners. However, some users may not get it immediately as the "rollout will be incremental".
