Minecraft Realms Coming To Mobile Devices

Following the announcement of Minecraft Realms three years ago, Mojang has officially revealed that the company will soon be expanding its server hosting service to mobile devices through Minecraft: Pocket Edition.

Minecraft Realms for Mobile, which is said to be easiest way to play Minecraft together with your friends and family, will be featuring:
  • Realms worlds are always online and can only be accessed by an approved group of people
  • Cross-platform play between iOS and Android Windows Phone, and Windows 10 editions of Minecraft
  • The ability to login with you Xbox Live account, but doesn't require an Xbox Live Gold subscription 
  • Paid subscriptions-based survice (no word yet on pricing plan)
Minecraft Realms will be available soon on Android, iOS, and PC (Windows 10). Although, an Alpha build is now available for free on Android devices.
