Amazon Launches Prime Video As Standalone Service

Following the introduction of Amazon Prime Video about ten years ago, Amazon has officially announced the latest update coming to its video on demand (VOD) service, Amazon Prime Video Standalone Service, offering access to non-Prime subscribers.

With Amazon Prime Video launching as a standalone video on demand service, which was exclusively available to Amazon Prime members in North America, anyone can now enjoy the huge library of Movies and TV Shows offered by Amazon at an cheaper price tag compared to the hugely popular Netflix, which has just announced that it will be increasing its monthly individual subscription fee to $9.99 starting next month.

Amazon Prime Video is now available for $8.99/month with the option to cancel any time you want.
