Samsung Introducing Galaxy Tab A (2016)


Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range tablet, as well as the latest member joining the Galaxy A family, the Galaxy Tab A (2016), delivering a successor to last year's Galaxy Tab A that offers a metal frame at an affordable price tag.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) features 7.0-inch (1280 x 800) TFT display, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 200GB), 5MP shooter and 2MP front-facing camera, 4000 mAh battery, and the latest TouchWiz on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The tablet comes in 8.7mm thin and weighs 283g, with Metal frame and patterned back, Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi + UMTS/3G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Kid Mode 4.0, as well as Black or White color options.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) is expected to be priced around €169 (about $188). Unfortunately, there is no word yet on the tablet's release date.
