Samsung Introducing Galaxy J5 & J7 (2016)


Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range products, as well as the latest members joining the Galaxy J family, the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016), delivering a successors to last year's Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7.

The Galaxy J5 (2016) features 5.2-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter with f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front-facing camera, 3100mAh battery, NFC with Samsung Pay support, and Android (most likely 5.1 Lollipop).

While the Galaxy J7 (2016) features 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, Octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter with f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front-facing camera, 3300mAh battery, NFC with Samsung Pay support, and Android (most likely 5.1 Lollipop).

Both phones support Metal frame, 4G connectivity with Dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as Pink, White, and Gold color options. However, the larger phablet comes in 7.8mm thin and weighs 170g, while the smaller phone comes in 8.1mm thin and weighs 159g.

Similar to the Galaxy A (2016) series, the Samsung Galaxy J5 & J7 (2016) will be available first in China. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing.
