Razer Introducing New Blade Notebook


Razer has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Blade family, the New Razer Blade, delivering a successor to the Razer Blade that offers "Better, Faster, Brighter" gaming laptop that's even more affordable than ever before.

The new Razer Blade features 14.0-inch Quad-HD+ (3200x1800) IGZO display, Intel Core i7–6700HQ Quad-core processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M (6GB GDDR5 VRAM), 16GB Dual-channel DDR4 RAM, 256/512GB PCIe SSD, 2MP front-facing camera, Built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater Edition support, Wireless-AC 1535 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac & Bluetooth 4.1), 70Wh battery, and Windows 10 (64-Bit).

The gaming notebook comes in 17.9mm thin and weighs 1.93 kg, with CNC-milled aircraft grade aluminum chassis, HDMI 1.4b output, three USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt 3 with USB-C support, Anti-ghosting keyboard with Chroma backlighting (16.8 million customizable colors), and compatible with Razer Core (external desktop-class graphics enclosure).

According to Razer "We are getting much more aggressive as far as price point, but that hasn’t come at a cost to the performance or design of the Razer Blade," The company continued "We’ve improved nearly every aspect of the 14-inch laptop, from CPU and GPU performance to system memory and port selection. Chroma technology unlocks an unprecedented, immersive experience on a gaming laptop".

Last but not least, the company has also announced that for a limited time only, anyone who pre-orders the new Razer Blade will get Tom Clancy’s The Division and a full license of FL Studio 12 Producer Edition at no additional cost.

The new Razer Blade is now available to pre-order starting at $1999 through the company's online store, while the gaming laptop is expected to begin shipping March 31.
