The Oppo R9 features 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Mediatek Helio P10 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, MaliT-860 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 2850mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
While the Oppo R9 Plus includes 6.0-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64/128GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 16MP shooter and 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 apertures, 4120mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Both devices comes with all Metal uni-body, Home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, VOOC Flash Charging, 4G connectivity with Dual-SIM support, as well as Gold or Rose Gold color options. However, the Plus version support 7.4mm thin and 79.3% screen-to-body ratio, while the smaller variant support 6.6mm thin 77.7% screen-to-body ratio.
The Oppo R9 and R9 Plus will be available in China later this month starting at CNY 2799 (about $432) and CNY 3299 (about $509).
