Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build

Following the release of Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10586.107 three weeks ago, Microsoft has officially launched an all-new cumulative update to Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10586.122, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10586.122 brings several improvements as well as other important bug fixes such as:
  • Kanji input experience while using Continuum has been improved 
  • The speed in which thumbnails appear for portrait videos has been improved 
  • Internet Sharing on select mobile network configurations has been improved 
  • IMS registration on select mobile network configurations has been improved 
  • The email sync experiences when connecting to Wi-Fi networks with a captive portal has been improved 
  • Data connection profiles for dual SIM devices has been improved 
  • Background processing of multiple changes to improve battery life of devices has been updated
  • Quality of video record to SD memory cards has been improved 
  • Video recording audio in some cases has been improved 
  • Overall OS reliability, including reliability of the Start screen, app updates, and the Windows Feedback app has been improved 
  • Alarm reliability has been improved 
  • An issue where adding your MSA during OOBE would fail and prevent the account from being re-added after the failure has been fixed
  • An issue in Microsoft Edge that prevented Word Flow input on some sites has been fixed
  • An issue that previously prevented the option to “Close all Tabs” in Microsoft Edge from closing all open tabs has been fixed
The company has also announced that it has added four new devices to its insiders program, including:
  • MCJ Madosma Q501
  • BLU Win HD W510U
  • BLU Win HD LTE X150Q
  • ALCATEL ONETOUCH Fierce XL
Windows 10 Mobile Insiders Preview Build 10586.122 is now rolling out through Windows Update, as part of the company's Slow Ring as well as Release Preview build program. Although, those in Fast Ring can also get it by temporarily switching to the Slow or Release Preview rings.
