Microsoft Launches New Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build


Following the launch of Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 14271 just over one week ago, Microsoft has officially released a brand new build of Windows 10, Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 14279, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

ew features as well as other enhancements and bug fixes such as:
  • Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil) or French (Canada) languages has been added to Cortana
  • The ability to save useful information via Cortana and set specific details
  • The logon experience has been merged so there is just a single background and that is your Lock screen background
  • Japanese IME typing response has been improved
  • Sway integration with Photos app with the ability to to add section headers, text narration, captions, and more
  • March updates for the Xbox app (Beta)
  • An issue where Microsoft Edge and Cortana were crashing for users with roaming profiles has been fixed
  • An issue where Cortana would continue to show reminders that have been completed has been fixed
  • An issue where items copied/moved to the desktop would not display until the desktop is manually refreshed by right-clicking on the desktop and choosing “Refresh” or pressing F5 has been fixed
  • An issue where downloading certain drivers from Windows Update was causing some PCs to bluescreen has been fixed
Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 14279 is now rolling out through Windows Update, as part of the company's Fast Ring build program.
